That sense of Joy at another's progress

Celebration- that sense of excitement and exhilaration

That intuitive delight at the success of another

Celebration is a dance step

Celebration a laughter

Celebration is a clap

Celebration a gift

Celebration is music

Celebration an art

Celebration is good news

Celebration a kind gesture

Celebration is a triumph

Celebration a victory

Celebration is a jump

Celebration a high five

Why don’t we do it often, I wonder?

And why don’t we do it together

We never loose you know?

We never do, if we celebrate another

We always win when we celebrate

It puts a sprint to our steps

And prepares us for another victory

Come let’s do it now!

Let’s do it together

Let’s do it often and always

Come let’s celebrate!

A step, a dance! A step, a dance!

That’s more like it,

Let’s celebrate!

For the person you see today is a star

The person you see an angel

The person you see is the image of God

So then let’s celebrate one another

Come on brothers and sisters let’s celebrate!

Think twice

Think twice

Think twice before you say that word

Think twice before you malign

Think twice before you gossip

Think twice before you condemn

Think twice before you accuse

Think twice before you murder another with your words

For we never make progress by condemning others

 And we are never as little as when we belittle others

The sky is too large for all to shine

And there is enough room for everyone to excel

For so the good Lord made it

Knowing that every star wants to shine

So why then do we wish to put off another’s light?

So that only we can shine

For the light that shines the brightest is the one that lights others

So then think twice before you put off another’s light

For life is funny you know

Somehow what goes round comes round

Who knows, for the light we wish to snuff out today

Maybe the one to light us tomorrow

The bridge we try to blow off today

 Maybe the very road we may need to thread tomorrow

So think twice before you are unkind to God’s child

For The Father maybe angry and who knows what ill may befall you

Think twice for life’s ways are not always known

Who knows you may need the very person you run down today someday

So then lift others up by your words

Think good of others

Always lift others up by your prayers

And hold the best thought of others in your heart

Think twice is a wise counsel methinks

For life is too short and strange

And then you never know

So think twice.

WHAT A MARVELOUS GOD!

WHAT A MARVELOUS GOD!

 I serve a Marvelous God

He is in control of everything

He made the worlds, the heavens and the earth

The earth is his and everything in it

He created the peoples of the earth in their different tribes and tongue

He carved out the nations and assigned spaces to them

He created the rivers, the seas and ocean and marked their boundaries

He created the animals and plants and all the green vegetation of the earth.

He allotted time and season and places to them

What a mighty God he is!

All of them he made in his majesty and for his glory

Each of them mirror different aspects of his being

What a great God I serve!

The wild animals jubilating in the wilds

The birds singing on the trees and nesting their young

The fishes swimming in the waters and making merry

The monkeys swaying on the trees and laughing at life

The bees sucking the pollen and making honey

The flowers, beautiful flowers spreading out their lovely petals

And scenting the earth with their sweet fragrance

Their colourful petals announcing the beauty of their creator

What a beautiful God I serve!

The sun in her radiance giving heat and life to the world

Producing her golden rays and proclaiming the majesty of her maker

The rainbow with his golden colour announcing his diversity

The earth and her vastness are His

The waters and their waves announcing his glory 

And man- the crown of his creation!

Male and female he created them to complement each other

Equals he made them together to rule His creation

To show his tender and fatherly care

To have dominion and rule he commanded them

In His image and for His glory He made them

Lord over all he has made and partners with him

Heirs of God and Joint Heirs with Christ

To reign in life and rule in the world to come

 To be with Him through all eternity

And to declare his praise to all of creation

What a Marvelous God!
